Our client is a world leader in language training programs, with campuses around the world and students from over 100 countries. They are seeking to hire an experienced student recruiting professional who will be based in either Shanghai or Beijing, with experience selling North American university pathway programs to Chinese students. The person must also value working independently, and from their home office. The successful candidate will have previous experience working with Chinese educational agents, Chinese partner schools, and leveraging other marketing channels within China to identify, encourage, and support the enrollment of Chinese students into various universities and language pathway programs located in the US and Canada and around the world. He/She will be a personable and persuasive communicator, results-oriented, highly ethical, love working independantly and a great team player, seeking an opportunity to grow with a world-leading organization in international education.
This is a full-time, home-based opportunity, and the successful candidate must have the requisite equipment to work from their home office in China, and to regulalry report and communicate with their supervisors based in the US.
Competitive monthly salary of 18,000 - 20,000 RMB based on experience, and proper employee contract according to Chinese employment law, proper tax deduction, benefits and employer contributions. Annual performance bonus based on results.
The successful candidate will be legally able to work in China, and should be fluent in Mandarin and English. A Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in marketing, business, communications or a related field. They should possess 3+ years of experience in the international education/recruiting industry within China, and strong knowledge and experience of US higher education. Experience dealing with US, Canadian or UK university pathway programs, working with Chinese agents and leveraging the latest marketing channels in China. Candidates must be ready to work independently and should have excellent communication, organizational and planning skills. They must have the ability to work under pressure to meet challenging targets and deadlines, and possess a high degree of drive and self-motivation.
This is a remote, home-based opportunity, with the candidate living in Shanghai or Beijing. Candidates must possess the necessary tools to work successfully from home, including fast internet access, a modern computer with a large monitor, and a quiet home office space. The candidate must also be willing to travel throughout China and internationally when required.
The marketing and recruitment manager is responsible for researching, developing and managing marketing plans and strategies in order to generate and convert leads. They will recruit, train and manage Chinese education agents, and promote the organization's partner university programs through effective presentation skills, print and web marketing, data mining and creating effective pricing strategies. The position requires extensive travel to attend recruitment and promotion activities across China, including seminars and fairs, visting schools and other recruiting partners in order to build long lasting relationships with stakeholders. They must provide excellent customer service, actively listen to client needs and provide quality reporting and internal communications.
