Mulgrave is an independent, secular co-educational school which is committed to providing an excellent academic programme from Pre-K through Grade 12. We are now inviting applications for a permanent full-time position as Junior School Math Coordinator & Teacher starting in August 2019.   The Math Coordinator plays an important role in the Junior School, supporting and enhancing math learning in the IB Primary Years Programme (Grades 1- 5) and Middle Years Programme (Grade 6), and ensuring curriculum continuity and coherence.   The role involves approximately 50% teaching (three sections of Grade 6 Math). The remainder of the Coordinator'/s time is spent co-teaching or modeling instruction in PYP classrooms, coaching teachers, working directly with groups of students, and collaborating with grade teams and the IB Programme Coordinators to develop, refine and review curriculum, learning resources and instructional strategies.   This role requires close collaboration with a range of colleagues including classroom teachers and Grade Leads, the Junior School Principal and VPs, and the MYP and DP Math team. We are now inviting applications for a full-time position as a Visual Arts Teacher in our Upper School.   We are looking for a well-qualified and experienced Visual Arts teacher. This individual will take a leading role in the further development of visual arts (G10-12), within and outside the curriculum, and work closely with the Middle School visual arts staff to ensure a strong, coherent progression of skills and concepts from G6-12.   Duties and Responsibilities  Including but not limited to the following: Teach the IB MYP Visual Arts elective in grade 10 and, potentially, some IB Diploma Visual Arts in Grade 11 and 12 Teach visual arts elective courses in the Middle School elective programme Sponsor and support the co-curricular Arts Council Provide pastoral care as an advisor Ideal Qualities of the person that we are looking for: An ability to connect with, and inspire students to outstanding levels of achievement and performance in visual arts.
